Meeting the challenges!! We are all aware of the effects that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on every industry, but the construction industry has been particularly challenged.

A recent article from the Elsevier Public Health Emergency Collection regarding the Impact of Covid-19 on field and office workforce in construction industry sites, “The construction industry has been significantly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and has been challenged to improve the safety and wellbeing of its workforce. The objectives of this study are to identify the health and safety issues that construction workers have encountered during the pandemic and to recommend management strategies to combat them.”

While the pandemic has threatened to take a toll on the physical and mental well-being of much of the workforce, at Spark Franchise Solutions, we continue to be inspired by the tenacity and dedication of our vendor partners as they meet the challenges facing the construction industry. While our general contractors and millwork vendors have recognized workforce and supply chain shortages, they are also implementing strategies to safeguard employees and doing their best to manage costs.
