Site Selection Advisement

Time to find a site! Here at Spark, we jump in right before you submit your Letter of Intent we’d like to help you review it - we'll give you a discount if we can! Our team will be your advocate to get a lease that works in your favor, artfully delegating with your landlord to get your space move-in ready faster and start Rent Commencement later!

As our delegations wind down, we’ll recommend a detailed Site Surveyor review of your location. A good Site Survey acts as insurance on your project. Unfortunately, far too often we see Franchisees encounter costly repairs down the line that could have been detected earlier with a quality site survey. If caught during this phase, we can use that to negotiate the repair costs into your lease – saving you tens of thousands of dollars (We wish that was an exaggeration).

Creative Design and Visualization tools

While there is a high chance you have a solid design in place, things can change over time – new materials become available, or you find yourself in need of some updates. Our in-house team works with your corporate partners to ensure your design is up to date, and that all the stakeholders have the information they need to bring it to life.

Preconstruction (Architecture and Engineering/M.E.P.)

Time to bring your project to life! Our team has formed exceptional relationships with Nationally Accredited Architects and Engineers familiar with the world of franchising. Our Architects* get familiar with your concept and workflow, and the Engineering team studies your requirements and equipment to bring your design to life.

We will provide recommendations based on your concept's needs, both as a tenant fit-outer and a ground-up model! Tenant fit-out models have been the standard for franchise models; but with the changing times, the demand for ground-up is increasing. Our team at Spark has recruited some fantastic partners with experience in both builds, so no matter what your brand requires we have you covered.

Construction Management

Our Construction Management service is unique to the industry in the best ways. Due to our internal set up our Construction Managers are exposed to elements of your project months before a traditional timeline or using a variety of vendors, would facilitate. Don’t be surprised if you see them on early Design calls or handling your Preconstruction Services. This exposure and connection creation early in the game ensures they are heavily educated on your concept before breaking the ground.

Once the project kicks off we can keep you as informed as you want to be, as often as works for your schedule. No matter what you select; you can trust we will present your update in a relatable, approachable, and educational manner. We typically recommend a weekly check-in for 30 minutes to an hour to start, always able to adjust as you need!

Fixtures & Furnishings

A custom Millwork/Fixture + Furnishing package is critical to your daily operations. Our team goes beyond generic cabinetry and takes a myopic lens to every aspect of your concept’s design – the materials, internal layout, how it can compliment (and support) your equipment, and overall structure – down to the grommet! We then take that information and create a solution that is a perfect balance of flexibility, modularity, and value engineering. This provides peace of mind that no matter your floor plan your custom millwork package will be cost-effective and deliver the foundation for an optimal daily workflow.

Graphics & Signage

High-Quality Graphics and Signage are critical to the success of your franchise! From proper exterior signage to internal wayfinding, a cohesive brand presence will set you up for success. Our nationwide web of partners is fluent in the world of franchising – and will give each location the individual attention deserved while keeping brand standards consistent. They know how to get your brand out there faster and can take permitting off your plate while coordinating with our Construction Management team.

Right behind the offices at Spark HQ lies our state-of-the-art warehouse, creating the perfect arrangement for our Inventory Consolidation program! Our warehouse allows us to house your Concept’s corporate inventory – letting us order in larger quantities to avoid falling victim to material shortages and back orders which have become issues in today’s world.  

Another bonus of utilizing us for your inventory consolidation needs? We can ship your contents together to dramatically reduce your shipping costs and the time involved to receive shipments. Think of it like your business in a truck! This also gives all of the appropriate department heads to give your items a bonus Quality Assurance check.
